Association Between Demographic Characteristics and Coping Strategies in Irritable Bowel Syndrome Patients

Background: Irritable bowel syndrome affects a significant number of people and results in financial emotional burdens. Besides this, the patient's physical, psychological, social well-being might be harmed by irritable syndrome. Objective(s): The aim this study is to determine association between demographic characteristics coping strategies IBS patients. Methodology: A quantitative descriptive, cross-sectional used assessment approach with questionnaire items conducted patients for period from 7 November 2021 30 May 2022. convenient sample (N=150) selected throughout use non-probability sampling approach. distributed (3) Hospitals Baghdad City. self-report developed literature, assessing effect Patients Bowel Syndrome. scales were after permission their authors.
